2 forms allow users to contact the ABES and the network of Authorities Correspondents to report a mistake and to contribute ti the quality of data.
The contribution to the quality of data
ABES relies on interested users to contribute to the accuracy and correction of data displayed on the site IdRef. This achievement opens the door to the so-called "crowdsourcing" in the production of metadata. This approach fits naturally into the development of IdRef, which aims to expose the authorities data without restriction.
Therefore, we created the form "request for data improvement".
By improving the data present in the records, anyone can contribute to the optimization of the functions of documentary searches, as well as to a better accreditation of publications to their authors.
Within the limits of literary data placed in our catalogues, you can suggest enrichments using the form below. Your suggestion will be treated by the library that created the record concerned.
Rights towards personal data
The ABES is concerned about the rights of individuals to control Public information about them.
In compliance with the law of Information and Liberties of the 6th of January 1978 modified by the law of the 6th of August 2004, the right to access, correct and oppose the personal data must be possible.
Therefore, we created the form “Request for data correction”.
It is thus possible to exert his rights using this form, provided you enclose proof of identity.
